Akoma Denim Jeans

One-of-one patchwork denim dream designed with appliqué brocade and randomized patchwork. This denim draws from India's visual heritage (and the global south at large). The front has a patchwork of craft stories, hand-appliquéd and embroidered panels stack and overlap–florals, sketches, brocade strips, cheetah print, ornamental motifs, handwork traditions, tiny stitched petals, and scattered threadwork. Nothing is symmetrical here, and everything intentionally overlaps.

From the side and back: embroidered red chillies near the back pocket, a floral patch pocket detail, and visible stitching that celebrates construction instead of hiding it.
