Bonnie Bikini

Regal, archival paisley motifs reimagined for a Mirchi Summer. The two-piece draws from the traditional kalka paisley–an enduring symbol within Mughal textile art, associated with prosperity in Indian textiles, abundance, movement and life force. 

Cut as a triangle string bikini, the top shows bold handmade paisley designs–curvy, graphic, and slightly exaggerated–filled with katdana beadwork. Scattered silver moti and sequins are placed to mimic starlight reflecting off palace stone. 

The low-rise bottom continues the story with paisley and winged floral designs unfolding across the front–placed to follow the natural curve of the body and shape of whoever is wearing it. The back remains simple and clean. Ties at the neck, back, and hips.
