Kara Dress

A sheer halter mini dress defined by its intimate draping and close, sculptural fit.

Cut in lightweight crimson georgette, the fabric gathers and falls along the body, creating a natural volume in the front balanced with a halter tie and low, open back. Inspired by vintage Grecian draping where fabric is allowed to gather, fold, collapse, and reform around the body.

At the center, an ornate brooch-style pendant draws from the form of a bajuband reimagined as a structural centerpiece. Pulling focus inward to ground the softness of the drape with a sense of visual gravity (serving as a simple yet opulent point of weight).

Handworked in katdana, moti, stones, and sequins that don't disrupt the purity of the drape. 

Minimal, sensual, and intentional. Designed around one precise moment of adornment.
