Matches Bag

A beaded statement bag shaped by Mirchi's love affair with Indian graphic design culture.

Drawing from vintage Indian matchbox art, familiar Mirchi fragments appear across the surface–chilies, sunflowers, and playful house motifs like our jalpari all made through intricate hand-embellishment.

The reverse carries its own moment: a tropical palm tree in katdana beadwork against striped rhinestones and sequins, chili pairing, and expressive eyes framed within a desi-style gold border that reads Gulaabi Aanken–mixing filmi nostalgia with street-side graphic charm.

Finished with a zip closure and beaded strap in pastel yellow with soft pink katdana swirls layered in. 

Fun, detailed, and so Mirchi!! A collectible piece designed to be worn on either side. Wear it with the Matches Set or on its own.
